If you own an Audi A4 or A6, and your check engine light comes on, don’t take it lightly, it could be your transmission. The A4 and A6 models are known for their torque converter clutches failing. This usually happens when a seal fails, which then causes slipping, and after a very short time, the clutch goes completely.
Also, if your Audi is acting as if your fluid levels are low, but you’ve already checked that, you probably have solenoid damage. This can easily be identified at a shop, and if this goes unchecked can cause damage to the transmission.
